oh weird, I was able to add the cubes to my cart to compare prices at the store yesterday, they must've switched it up suddenlyI wanted the 35g cube, but... The deal is only up to 29g and 'select' tanks up to 75g.
Hence the 50% off, knowing you will buy two after trying to drill through the first one. Let's call it 25% off.
So typically with tempered glass by law you have to stamp it showing that it is safety glass. This can be done on the seams or by a standard tempering logo. When asked if there was a way to tell and told them about said manufacturing requirements they told me there is no way of telling or knowing unless you do the temper glass trick with polarized sunglasses and a lcd screen. I work at a tempering glass facility and all safety glass must have an ansi certification(stamp). Which Aqueon used to have but it looks like in 2017 they werent stamping the glass due to product shortage and started using non stamped tempered glass to be able to keep up with demand. Just be careful anyone who does i guess...just wanting to try and help some people.

the Aqueon frameless cubes actually looked pretty nice and would be a steal at that price (idk if you can drill them)
