Probably one of the worst web sites I've ever seen for SW fish!
Haha yeah, I know! That’s why I thought I’d ask around before sending them any money!! Maybe I’m judging a book by its cover and they’re great?

I placed an order on Tuesday and got a confirmation email. Haven’t heard from them yet though on shipping... I’m watching it closely in case I need to call my credit card company...

I sent them an email and asked when the expected shipping date would be. I received 4 canned response emails. This is one of them and it was very helpful! (Sarcasm)

“Hello, and thank you for your inquiry!

The EDT or 'Estimated Delivery Time' is the ‘estimated’ timeline from order placement to order shipment. ETDs are posted for all pets on their product pages. In some cases your pet may ship sooner, however depending on the popularity of that species and how many orders are ahead of you, shipping times may also extend past the EDT. We will always do our best to inform you of any EDT changes in your orders.”

Oh! I got a a response from a human this time! Progress!

“ Hello Michael,

Thank you for reaching out to us! We have received your order for [redacted] . When your order was placed it goes to our Fulfillment Department for procurement and processing.

Once your fish have been procured from our supplier. We will send you an email letting you know that they have been shipped, and will send you a tracking number, to track your shipment through FedEx. Which we use FedEx Overnight shipment.”

I haven’t heard anything and the status of the order is still just ‘paid’. So it seems like they don’t actually have the fish in stock. I don’t want to wait a month for them to try to track down the fish to fulfill the order.
I sent them an email and asked to cancel the order because it is not in fulfillment or procurement status. Here is the response, “ I received your request for a Cancellation and Refund with your Fish Order #___ . Since your order is in the middle of processing and procurement, and per the Terms and Conditions that were agreed upon during Order Placement: Due to the complexity of our supply chain management and inventory systems, live animal orders are unavailable for modification, cancellation, returns or refunds once your order is placed.”

What do y’all think?

Lol scammed. That’s what happens when you buy from random online sites. Most credit card companies don’t cover animals either. Better reach out to your company ASAP!!

I didn’t start the dispute yet. I wanted to give until the end of the week to be reasonable. Trust me, I am still skeptical! I will keep you posted and share pics.

Hmm and then they called me to check in to see if the fish were healthy. What a roller coaster. I ended up being pretty impressed with them. The website is garbage but everything worked out.
