Long store short I got 3 hours of sleep last night. Was busy all day and then had to drive 3 hours home at night tonight. I’m exhausted. Recently my ph has been high around 8.4 with new scrubber so alk and calcium consumption is more but haven’t figured out how much to dose yet for stability. Tested water since I hadn’t in a few days to see how much it’s changing with new scrubber. Use brs 2 part. So I manually dosed alk and calcium while my Dos was turned off. Put in what I thought would be right in calculator and I’m so tired so instead reading in ml I did in ounces and dose that. So basically dosed 12 OUNCES OF ALK INSTEAD OF 1.5 without thinking. Ph spiked to 8.8 alk spiked to 14. Need help. Most of corals look okay. I slowly have been taking water out and adding ro or fresh mixed water to lower ph/ alk. Ph still at 8.8 got all down to 12.5. Gonna slowly continue to add ro water to help dilute. Any other suggestions?? Cannot believe I just did that. Assuming I slowly decrease will corals and fish be okay? Been monitoring them. Fish look fine corals okay. Can they rebound? Plz help with suggestions

Personally I would dilute sooner than later. If you can do at least a 25% wc I think that would help bring that number down. Alk is in acceptable range however ph is still high but not kill everything high. I’m guessing ca dropped a lot with that much alk but I wouldn’t worry about that as much as dropping those levels.

I didn’t have any water made some I am making some now. I’ll try to do another gallon or so water change before end of night. I also literally have a fish shipment coming tmr. I added calcium before I did alk since it was low. Just tested it again and it’s at 430. I’m happy alk is in okay range but i normally try to keep it around 8.5 so definitely high still. Ph on apex is slowing starting to drop. Only problem is the low will be like 8.5 still. I’m thinking about leaving. Skimmer off tmr for co2 scrubber. When I do another gallon or so water change how much do you think it will drop ph
