PH boost and stability with Miracle Mud

Started using it and it’s been 2 weeks my PH in frag tank is steady between 7.9-8.Not sure what’s in miracle mud that is doing this..only thing I changed is lighting Refugium 24/7 instead of night and dosing brightwell ferrion alternate days.

Keeping the light on 24/7 means photosynthesis 24/7, which means constant oxygen production and thus a more stable pH. Probably nothing to do with the mud. Also, adding iron supplements usually means better growth on the macroalgae, which means more photosynthesis.

I agree with you but there is something in there that boosting and stabilizing PH not sure why it js
