Not wishing to pay a lot for a PH controller for my calcium reactor and there are a few I am thinking of.
Firstly there are 2 Milwaukee controllers the SMS 122 and mc120
Also the Hobby Eco controller.

I dont care for the Weipro as I had one a while back and the calibration adjustment is very fiddly.
Anybody using any of the 3 I am considering no more than around the $100 mark or is there one of a similar price which I may have missed?
Cheers.

You didn't mention it but I am using the American Marine PH controller for my calcium reactor.

Been using it for almost 2 years not without any issues. They aren't the cheapest but you might be able to find one lightly used.

I have had the Milwaukee (don’t recall which of the model numbers) for many years. It’s the old green colored version. Probe needs regular replacement of course, but other wise it’s provided excellent value and longevity. Ironically, I’m about to retire it.

You can probably find a used one and replace the probe. I used a PinPoint that was reliable, but the probes needed constant replacement. The Milwaukee is probably as good as it gets for that price range.

I have not used one in a decade, or more, so I am probably out of touch. They caused more trouble than they were worth for my CaRx. Are you sure that you really want to use one?

Thanks guys.
