pH is too low, but alk is fine. Best ways to raise pH without boosting alk?

This is the valve I picked up. The pH controller has a 120v output (kinda). So, with that valve I just connected the wires up to a 12v transformer I had laying around from who knows what (an old router or something probably). The nice thing about these valves is that they draw almost no power when holding open, so just about any 9-24v transformer you have will work just fine. The only thing you'll need is a adapter to go from the valve to the tube. In my case, it was a Male 1/2"NPT to male 3/8" barb.
I have a similar valve (but 120v) for my RO system. I plugged it into a timer. Any time I need RO water I just set the timer for how long I want water to run for and I can walk away without worrying about it overflowing.

FWIW, despite the FALSE claims by Brightwell, that product is just a high pH alk supplement, using hydroxide, as in my DIY ultra high pH two part, or in limewater (kalkwasser).

My PH is 7.4 but my ALK is at 9. Im cracking all the windows and doors first to see if thats the problem.I'll be back later to follow up and ask questions.

If your alkalinity is normal 7dkh or above its always Co2 causing the low ph or a faulty reading.

im seeing it slowly rising so I agree its the c02. so next question, icecap medium scrubber with color changing media? run my skimmers air line to outside?

That is probably going to work. I recently did the outside line thing. 1.5" abs pipe to outside window. Skimmer sucking from it, and an air pump pumps air into the glass lid and the overflow. Ph is now 8.1 at night and 8.2 durring the day. Use limewater durring the nightly ph drop and have an ats on 24/7. All this made my ph this way.
