just started a new 150DD tank. Apex is hooked up and i calibrated the PH prob twice. current reading on apex is 7.69 i also tested with Red Sea test kit still low reading on that. No fish in it cycle on tanks has some new carib sea rock with some rock from older tank to help seed. I also used dr. Tims one and only to get the tank cycled faster. Should i do anything at this time?

7.7 is low

Low ph is caused but having too much co2 in tank

Are you running a protein skimmer during cycle

Do you have powerheads or wave makers to move the water around the water in the tank

I never tested my ph during cycle though not sure if low ph is normal during cycle ?

Maybe someone else can chime in

Yes low ph is normal in a new tank it will gradually move up as the tank matures

Normal, you could aerate the water with the power heads if its a concern to you, or open a couple windows by the tank. its not super low, i wouldn't worry about it rite this second.
