How good is the apex one and world a 3rd party on be different

If you had two pH probes, one on each of two different measurement systems, and you calibrate both probes at the same time, and have them both next to each other in your sump, your results should be pretty consistent. (If they aren't, how would you determine which one was off?)

Some reefers are known to "chase numbers", suggest you don't bother becoming one of them.

[All that said, I wish Apex had a way to compare two different input values, and alert you when they don't match by some pre-specified amount. That would indicate that one or both of the inputs are failing and you needed to take some remedial action. But I only know of one reefer, besides me, that would appreciate this level of redundancy.]
