PH Probe Help

Looking at buying a new PH probe to go with my Apex. The current one drifts from calibration in under 2 weeks to the point that 7.0 pinpoint calibration fluid at 77 degrees reads 9.4. Is it worth the extra for $45-$70 Neptune probes, $55 BRS probes or will I be fine with the less expensive $36 Pinpoint PH probe. I know we are only talking 10-30 bucks here, but after dropping over $750 in new goodies, the wife is about ready to kill me, and I need to get this one done on the cheap.

I use the lab grade PH probe from BRS. I think it's on sale today..

My apex Is fairly new so I have not experimented with other brands. I pay more attention to alkalinity more than I worry about ph.

Dozing kalk from my ATO I have to watch Ph close it is easy to over do it
