I'm looking to buy a ph probe to help keep an eye on my PH. I don't have an Apex yet and probably won't get one for a little while until I save up any suggestions on a good one for the meantime just to keep an eye on the ph levels?

This is essentially what I use. I don’t have anything hooked up to the controller part, but once it is calibrated, it is very useful. But there is no wifi and no logging. You have to look at it to read your pH. But as long as you mount it some place visible, it doesn’t get easier than this, without spending big bucks.

Just make sure to order the calibration solution packets. I get the 4, 7 and 10. It doesn’t come with any, and you need to calibrate it out of the box.

But yeah, for visually monitoring pH, it’s perfect.
