Hey guys I know this might not be the place to ask but I’ve tried googling it and nothing comes up. Currently in my AP Bio class we are doing a lab on seed germination and we have to test the affects of pH on germination. However my group isn’t sure how to properly test the pH in different solutions we create by adding OH or H so I was wondering if I could use my pH tester from the Saltwater Master Test Kit. However since it is freshwater I’m just wondering if it will work or if it won’t have the same effects since it’s not saltwater. I know it’s a long shot asking on here because this is for fish haha but anything helps! Thanks!

I do not think there is any difference between the Marine or Freshwater tests. The Marine test is labeled as such because the range on the card is much higher than the pH required for Freshwater.
