Hello,
I'm looking for a alk reducer and thought sodium bisulfate was safer to use than HCl. I found this product called Aquarius 1 pH- , says it's salt compatible on the label so thought it would be ok for reef.

Not sure how to dose this into a tank, as it doesn't mention alkalinity reduction, just current ph and g used

I do not know if it is adequately pure, and sodium bisulfate is inexpensive at food grade. If it is sodium bisulfate, my recipe is here. i'd be very careful doing it in an established tank due to the big pH drop.

A reply post from the product Q and A said it's 80-100% pure.

Optimistic. I tested a tsp in a glass of rodi for curiousity. .. 0.26 po4 !

For anyone looking at this product for reef, look elsewhere!
