Ph8's 225 build

Awesome Brett. Didn't realize you got another Kuiteri? How long have you had her? Where did you find her? BZA again?

Just a couple weeks, I kinda went easy on the QT with her this time around due to QT tank issues. Yeah she came from BZA, I hear some really bad reviews about that place sometimes but they have been nothing but awesome for me. I was gonna get a pair or trio this time around but they raised the price on them and I didn't want to get in trouble from the boss. How are your leopards doing for ya?

Awesome. So glad to hear that this one is doing well. My Potters and Kuiteri are both doing very well. They are growing and have settled in really well with the other tank mates. They have voracious appetites and are very social. I love them.

I have a female psych head as well and she is incredible! Of all the fish I have, she is the one everyone asks about. Hard to beat the patterns on her.

I will let Brett answer that as he much more knowledgeable than I am about these types of wrasses. It is best to QT as they can be picky eaters (and shy at first). I know Brett will have more to add though.

Glad to hear they are doing well, I'm still trying to track down a potters and I absolutely love all the Tamarins. The Psych head is definitely one of the most striking fish around. I ordered a yellow tail through the LFS the other day but they tend to flake out on me most of the time.

Hey Brett and Craig. I was thinking of getting a couple leapords. Do you qt them or just acclimate and put in dt?

Hi Kirk,
I do QT them but I feel it's important for them to have sand. They often travel through multiple time zones on the way to us and really need time to adjust to our time zone. Hiding in the sand is where they feel safe. Many times they can take several weeks to completely adjust. I don't reccomended using meds with them except prazi pro or metro for worms. I haven't had too hard a time getting them to eat, they love mysis. Let us know how it goes for you, we want pics.

Brett, so happy to see you have a nice, healthy Kuiteri in your DT! She is gorgeous. Thanks for sharing the pics...

Its been a fun morning with the fish trap. These things will quickly tell which of your fish are the dumbest, LOL. The muelleri and lamarks decided to fight over who got to be in it, which makes it really hard to catch anybody else. With a little patients and a clam on the half shell, my C. rubripinnis has been caught and will find a new home. He just got too mean to new comers and constantly chased anyone smaller than him.

New guy went in today. I added him yesterday and my C. rubripinnis attacked him bad. Guess who found a new home this morning, LOL. I also removed the giant RBTA this morning cause it was just leaning over and causing some issues with the SPS. The tank looks so funny without it, I may have to add another small one later. Heres a couple pics of the new guy and one I liked of my Purple queen anthias.

Thank you, the eightline was an important fish for me. I'm so happy to have it. LADD, did a great job with him and he came in perfect. I'm down to one PQ, I worked so hard conditioning the trio. All 3 were eating really well in QT but only one transitioned well to the display. The one that's left is the fatest I've ever seen, I wish I could have 8 just like her. I've thought about adding a few more but decided to be happy with the healthy one I got. A group of them would really be amazing though.

just get a Sunburst, Lemon Drop, or Flame tip BTA and you should be set. ;)

Sorry Marvin I didn't catch your post. Funny you would say, I aked the LFS to save me one next time he has them. I think a local guy clones them and brings them in to the store. The last one I saw in there was amazing. I think Im gonna try to give it its own island this time though. That RBTA did some pretty nice damage to SPS.

This Efflo is starting to show a little potential. My camera stills however are not, LOL. I have zero idea what any of the setting on this thing are, I keep telling myself to read the manual but it never happens.
