I am using a ReefBreeders Photon V2 on a 24” long by 12” deep frag tank and…

3 Radion XR30 G4 Pro’s on a 30” long by 20” deep display tank.

You could say I’m a fan of “overkill.”
Why did you change coralcare with other brands?

Why did you change coralcare with other brands?

Two reasons:

I am unable to hang lights from my ceiling, and there really isn’t another viable way to mount the Coral Care in an aesthetically pleasing way. It’s too heavy to be mounted to the tank.

Also, I already had Radions so it was the cheapest option for the display.

I was fortunate enough to collaborate with Reef Breeders and test out the Photon, which I have come to really love.

The Coral Care is a spectacular light, it’s just very heavy and that is it’s biggest limitation in my opinion.

What is your light schedule look like? I have two over my tank. Yours looks great, corals are popping!

Sorry I missed this! See page 4 of this thread for screen caps of the schedule I used.

How would you compare the Reefbreeders to the Photons—-both similar concepts (panel) and similar led colors

Looking back to your reefing roots: Did you start with Instant Ocean salt?
