I have been dosing about 10 ML of Phosphat-e daily. It’s being dosed into a 10 micron filter sock via a dosing pump broken up into 12 doses throughout the day. This has successfully maintained my Po4 in the .06 range.
Finding the dosing balance it has varied from 1.2 to .03 until I nailed down the dosing amount. I diluted the Phosphat-e with RODI water 50/50 just in case my pump wasn’t accurate.
I am see some tissue loss on coral. A few SPS and even now on a Hydnophora.
could this be from Po4 variance or the Lanthanum dosing
Other peram
Nitrate 8 (using nopox at 12 ml daily)
Alk 8.8 and steady
Cal 450 ish
Mag 1350
1.026
Thank you!

following but adding sample ....
is that a orange Digi and a stylo or is that birds nest ?
I use the Brightwell stuff also, but I don’t have the nerve to auto-dose it ...
IME anecdotally alk swings make sps mad quicker than PO swings ... but I’m listening anyway ...

I had been mixing down my Phosphate-E also in the dosing container. I stopped doing this because I believe over time it was settling out... So I would dose only Phosphate-E until it runs out and then be dosing water... Going to straight phosphate-e via the doser into my skimmer has been working great and much more consistent then mixing with RO.

I would see my Phosphates drop as expected but then about halfway through the container my Phosphates with skyrocket again. This happened a few times until I stopped diluting it.

Also second things getting ticked if your Alk swings. Seen my yellow tips lose all color from all swings but make it back to normal once things got steady.

Fortunately my alk has been pretty steady. It’s controlled with Trident controlled dosing. Everything has been steady which is why I’m looking at the Phosphate-e.
