Hey! Look at that. I used mine for the first time about 20 minutes ago. Mine was 26 though :(. I think it all depends on what your shooting for. Ultra low nutrients? You got it :) Sorry I couldn't be more help, just thought I stop by ;) hopefully someone more knowledgeable will come along and give you a better answer!

Not really shooting for ultra low, but certainly don't want the colors to fade on my SPS.

That's pretty low. The error range is +-5ppm so it could be 0ppm or 9ppm.

I'll test NO3 and Alk when I get back in town and my reading in ppm should be .004ppm which would place me with the error range at .000ppm or .009ppm and I want to be at .02ppm to maintain appropriate color and poly extention on my sps correct?

Here is the conversion chart I use for my Hanna. Your somewhere between 0.00 and .028.

Your correct. He's okay at .028 ppm.
I always lean towards the high end of the +- on this test. I use the Hanna phosphate checker and I'm fine with the margin of error.

Could be or could be light intensity/ photo period.
