Photon 48 vs 50

Is the only difference between the photon v2+ 48 & 50 just that 4” or so in length? Are the clusters and everything the same just spaced 1” or so wider between each one? Wattage and number of diodes looks identical

Correct, only difference is the 50 can handle longer tanks, 60" and even 72" for mixed reef/FOWLR *note the sides may be slightly dark, and you need a higher hanging height- at least 12-18".

If you intend to hang the lights, or use the BOT mounting arms, the 50 will also cover a 48" long tank well.
