These Photons grow and color sticks really well. I was running a modded AB+ program, and just changed the intensities again today. Prior, I was running 3/5/6 at 85%, 1/2 at 24 and 4 at 20 for 8 hours as my core, with 3 hour ramps before and after, at lower intensities.

Now, I’m running 3/5/6 at 100%, 1/2 at 25% and 4 at 20% at peak for 8 hours and cut 1/2/4 out during the ramps before and after. My lights are 13” above the water line. So far, progress has been great with Logan’s PV2+, and I’m glad I have 4 over my tank.

Here are some random shots of my acros under these lights.

Any chance you could post your ramp values on 3/5/6?

Im still trying to workout my light schedule. I want to be able to view the tank before and after work. 14 hours is about where I need to be to do that.

I love the color on your sps with your settings. Have you seen an increase in the red and yellow in the sps? I mean I think uv was meant to shift green colors in some corals to more red or yellow. Thanks

I’m not sure if I’m seeing a shift towards more of those colors in the acros that already have those colors, but I can tell you they maintain those colors in the acros that have them.
These are my current settings. I went to 90% blues and didn’t like how the PE on some immediately went away.

nice man I dont run my red and green past 10% but those photos are making me reconsider
Why are you hesitant to run the red greens higher? Algae issues? The only algae problems I have are the ones that build up on the glass every 1-3 days. If that’s what you’re worried about, any red or green or white you provide will have enough for algae to grow. I’d try turning them up.

Tank looks great! What made you decide on a second unit over a T5 hybrid setup?
I went with 4 instead of 2 and a T5 hybrid set up because I’ve had success with LEDs in the past and I didn’t want to deal with replacement lamps as I knew I wanted only acros again. I will admit I considered adding a row of T5s in the center, but I haven’t felt like I truly needed more light.

Most of my photos are during ramp down because I’m not home in time usually to get shots during daytime.

Increasing the red and green will make the tank appear brighter and whiter for sure.

I tried running with blues, red and green only and left out the white and I almost left white out completely. But white helps with growth.

Thanks! I’m running 4, 48s and my tank is 8/2/2, 240 gallons
Any shadowing or areas with no growth?, I’m looking to do an 8’ tank 30x30 and I have my eye on these lights, wondering if the 4 would be enough or would I have supplement additional lighting with lumen bars

4 x 48s would be more than enough- if anything you could even do 2 x 48s plus lumenbars. But with 4 48s you get more flexibility and controlability, as all 4 lights will sync to one remote right out of the box.

Some random progress shots.
SSC is pretty low in the tank, using a lux meter I estimate about 150 par, possibly more, just an estimate. About 5 months growth under these lights, for all frags.
