Excluding the brain .....

EB832 ..... kind of necessary
WXM ….. don't have to futz around with the cludgy vortech buttons ever again
Trident ….. has worked perfectly for me for 8 months now
FMM ..... more data = more better
Break-out-Box (the Avast version) ..... more data = more better, part 2

I Wish I could say my DOS/DDR combo but it has not worked since I got it (about 1 yr ago) so it just sits there while I manually dose everyday!

EB832
FMM (Very versatile, used with ATK, LDK, and Flow)
Trident
DOS

Those are the only ones I own and use on my tanks currently, but I also like the WXM (if/when I get Radions I will get one), and the WAVs (but I like my Gyres more).

The ATK has worked well for me excluding my build constraints that make it difficult for me to maintenance.

I would hand no issues if I was able to clean the optical eyes once every couple of months, instead I only clean them when it gets dirty which is once every 6-9 months

cause some errant alerts

Why so I keep reading a ton of bad on the ATK?

Because the majority of people who have problems with the ATK either don't have it configured properly or misunderstand how it's designed to function. This isn't necessarily their fault since the Neptune documentation isn't very clear or detailed. I helped so many people troubleshoot their ATK's that I decided to write a whole tutorial about it including detailed troubleshooting steps: https://www.reef2reef.com/ams/neptu...torials-part-3-automatic-top-off-kit-atk.692/

This evolved into writing an entire 8-part series of Apex programming tutorials: https://www.reef2reef.com/ams/authors/suncrestreef.93940/

In order based on the ones I currently own:
  1. EB832
  2. Trident
  3. Dos
  4. Wxm
  5. fmm
The energy bar is obvious.

The trident gets #2 as there’s no way I’d manually test Alk 4 times a day. Even once with a Hannah gets pretty annoying. Plus you get Ca and mg done too.

The Dos gets the #3 spot as it, again, removes a daily routine. Sure, it’s easy to pour a cup of stuff into the tank but it’s just nice to not have to do it. Plus with the Trident Controlled setup it just does stuff on its own.

WXM gets the 4th spot because it’s nice to be able to setup Feed Mode and have the apex turn the pumps off. You could do that with the EB832 but after feed mode I run nutrient transport and there’s no way I’d do that by hand every day then remember to turn it back to normal.

FMM gets my last slot. It’s the 5th module I own and all I use it for is to let me know when my ATO is low. If I get a UV I’ll use it for a flow sensor to know how much I’m sending through the unit. Leak detection sounds nice too.
