Hello everyone, new to the forum! Was just curious if anyone has any ideas on how to increase the gph on a pico pump by modding it (for example modding the impeller, or what not). Thanks for any opinions and ideas!

I don't think Pico pumps can be modified at all to increase flow. You are talking about the Koralia Pico line of pumps?

No just in general, tbh I believe it's a reptiflo 200 ( okay to be fully submersible) rated for 85gph. Just trying to increase it's gph before I go but another pump

Generally only modification of output is to make a pump into a powerhead (maxijet mod) or to make a larger pump slower (trimming blades as in aquaclear hob refugium mods).

Dang, yeah I figured there wasn't much I could do. Would removing the cover for the impeller help at all?

Pretty unlikely. What GPH are you trying to achieve? If you want a small, adjustable pump--look into the Hydor Pico line or Sicce line. Both have quality, small pumps that have adjustable flow.
