Pineapple sponge?

I suspect these are pineapple sponges. They are mainly in my sump but I have seen a bunch in the display tank too. I have detected some silicates in my water which I think caused a recent diatom out real. Are they anything to worry about? Tank is about 9month old.

Yeeeeup! Pineapple sponges for sure. Nothing to be concerned about.

I just noticed a ton in my sump also identical, my reef system if 8 months old
