Has anyone kept a pipe organ coral long term, over a year? If so what is your care regimen please. Any insight would be gratefully appreciated.

I’ve had mine for almost 4 years. It’s a pretty hardy coral. They like some random or pulsed flow and they seem to trap debris. I gently blow mine off once a week to clear out the debris.

I don’t feed it anything. I can tell you like most corals nitrates over 25 will cause it to recede.

I keep mine about 12” deep and in higher flow. Just so stuff doesn’t get caught in the skeleton. It seems to react to reefroids. Mine continuously grows new small polyps. Also made it 2 weeks with no A/C and tank got 85 degrees.

Took a top down shot of mine today.

Coral magazine had a really good article about all the different types of pipe organ corals. If you can find it, it’s worth the read.

Reviving an old thread instead of making my own. I've got a pipe organ coral and I've noticed there's highly conflicting advice from reputable sources. Tidal Gardens says 75 to 100 par. Frag Box agreed on low to medium par while others recommend 200-300+. I have to assume that it's just a highly adaptable coral but curious what others are running in terms of par
