Best way to quarantine these two? They have been paired up in a 5 gallon separate from all other fish for 6 months or more while I was fighting an inch issue. Display tank is cleared and I want to add these two but I want to quarantine first just to be safe. I'd hate to have to do that all over again. I've got a couple 10s I can do tank transfer method with but I'm not sure it will work with the shrimp in there? I appreciate any help here.

Best way to QT this pair is separately.

You can use TTM or medication with the goby, as trophonts won't stay embedded in fish for more than a relatively few days. That's not what might be on the shrimp, though - the tomont phase of the ich lifecycle can remain encysted on the shrimp for up to 72 days, just as it can on a rock. Maintain the shrimp in its own tank, or a dedicated invert QT system for 76 days, or until it moults its shell. Any tomonts encysted on the shrimp will be cast along with the old shell, and the shrimp is now safe for the DT.

Old thread. Is this accurate that a pistol shrimp can have ich tomonts attached? People really qt their pistol shrimp for 76 days? I'd be worried about it surviving that long in a glass box.
