I am planning to get a Bullseye pistol shrimp (since to me they seem cool) what would I need to take care of it/keep it alive and happy? Also i have a small ish room and don't want to pair it up with a goby unless completely necessary since it is hard enough for me to get a 10 gallon tank in there. This is my first time taking care of any type of marine life.

This type of pistol shrimp won’t pair with a goby so you are good with it alone, but make sure other tank mate won’t target it. It needs plenty of base rock and a thick sand bed. A good iodine level will help it molt.

I don't really have plans for another tank-mate since the tank is only 10 gallons and i want the pistol shrimp to be comfortable.

In my reading your tank @ 10 gallons is too small. These guys want a 30 gallon tank unfortunately, probably due to the deeper sand bed requirements for hiding... Though I'm not sure what that means if it is the only critter in your tank, *maybe* that's okay.

it is supposed to be the only one it my tank so i thought 10 would be okay since its small enough to fit in my room.
