I have a Tiger Pistol Shrimp, have had him for about a year. Recently I saw a pistol shrimp ive never seen before at a LFS. instead of a elongated body this guy was tough and looked like a tank (he was even green). I immediately wanted to buy him (impulse i know) and i failed to snap a picture of him. All i could think was, could i even fit both in my 30g tank with the ittybit of rock i have? It seems like they would be in such a small space.

Probably not a good idea right?

It was a thought that I had when I looked at it, like i said it never looked like a pistol shrimp i'd ever seen, but it had that trademark long claw. Only one. Mantis' that ive seen are symmetrical.
