So, came home tonight to mind both my Goni and Acan lived over to my Watchman Goby/Tiger Pistol Shrimp cave. I loved them back and just found the Goni moved again.

Anyone experienced this? Any ideas on how to stop it? I was trying to keep my new Goni in a sheltered area since most of my tank is high flow.

thanks!

Yeah, some fish fancy themselves interior decorators or I guess landscape architects is more appropriate. Might give them a selection of rocks, set them between your corals and your shrimp's front door.

My pistol shrimp will steal anything that isn’t glued down.

Just added a pistol shrimp and goby 2 days ago. Literally just finished gluing my frags to rocks. I have only 1 frag on the sand bed which I think is safe from the shrimp

Pistols will take anything they can. Either glue your frags to larger rocks (any rocks at least as wide as the shrimp is long are probably okay), or don't put them on the sandbed. Anything higher than a few inches off the sandbed is probably okay, pistols don't usually climb rocks to find material.

And yeah, give it stuff to play with. Shells, bits of rubble, anything it can move. They can handle shells as wide as they are long, so give them a lot of broken bits of varying sizes, and a few larger flat shells like clamshells, and enjoy.
