Hey guys! So in my endeavor to help reduce my planaria infestation, I was reccomended to try a Planaria trap

First, why have I never heard of these?

Second, anyone got any good success stories with saltwater planaria? It seems a lot of YouTube show freshwater planaria not saltwater and it’s advertised as freshwater.

I do have other means of eradication but mainly just looking for experiences with these.

I am going to watch and see how people respond to your question. I have not heard of this application in fresh or salt water.

I hope it works out in marine. What do you use for bait in the trap?

I’m thinking flatworm exit 😂 or strychnine like I use for gophers?🤠

I can’t see that handling the volume of the infestation that I have.

When I researched what red planaria eat, the consensus was copepods. I can”t see them catching a copepod.
Keep us posted.

I don't think you need bait, they work just like a frog hammer. 😂

So just an update, the trap is pretty useless. While it caught some, I think it was more a case of they wandered around to it not “hey there’s food”
