Just getting my Planet tideline 20inch external overflow going. It consists of 3 drains 2 mains on emergency. Both main drains get converted down to 1inch and feed my reef mat. One of them is taking in a lot of air and bubbling non stop. The other side isn’t that bad but has bubbles. Only a gate valve on one of the two. How can I reduce the air and silence the drains.

I have mine where the main drain (with gate valve) is pulling as much as it can with just a little going into the secondary. I can't hear anything from the drains.

I do not have a maggie, just open 1" drains.

Are the standpipes the exact same height? Mine are and its seems like one side is worse the the other. Gate valve is fully open.
