Tank looks amazing!

How do you like the 24” depth and only 21” height? I plan to do a 8’ planet tank one day but will probably go 30” wide and tall. Any special reason for you dimensions?

I honestly thought I was going to hate it when I bought it, but I actually love it! I’m not having to snorkel to fix corals that fell and siphon up detritus. Everything is in arms reach sorta. But basically those dimensions are exactly what I needed for the opening I had. I probably could how gone 30” wide but would have left me little room in my “ fish room”.

Looking good! I need way more fish, I have 12 in the same tank even though Bertha (Vlamingi that I rescued) is growing huge. How many fish do you have?

Seems I’m always on the road and I suck at updating. I go to update then forget because I’m tired lol. But here are some recent pictures. Nothing much has changed. Staying on a 2 week water change schedule. Still feeding the corals by calcium reactor. N03 and P04 are pretty high so I just bought and Algae scrubber to help lower them as water changes alone are no help and the skimmer and refuge can’t keep up. I feed a lot as I have a lot of fish and they are fat and sassy. Enjoy the photo dump! If you want to but don’t have too!!

Sorry the fish block much of the pictures and I’m not the greatest photographer either.

Thanks man! Right now I think I have about 25 or so fish. Mainly just 5 bigger ones which are the
Desjardini, Hippo, YB Hippo, Valmingi, Foxface. Those are the fattys!

Can always go deeper and taller can’t ya? I’m a bad influence lol

This is it for me on tank size, wife actually met me in the middle for 33 depth from 36. I’m concerned the height is going to be a pain since I’m so used to a short tank. I got thinking and I never really put my hands in the tank much anymore. We shall see in a few months….

I haven’t updated since August!! Little photo dump. As usual not much has really changed. Continuing to do water changes and cleaning the tank walls lol.

Everything still looking good! Haven’t added any new equipment so everything is as is. Still struggling with my nitrates a little but working on adding a AWC system as soon as everything comes in! Hopefully that helps if that doesn’t then I’ll just stop messing with it. In the mean time here is a photo dump.
