Planning a new build.......

Well guys I am going off the deep end now, I just ordered the glass for a 96X24X18tall tank that I am going to build with my wife. Ya I know this will be a completely new adventure for us, she has been complaining that this hobby is always center off attention so I decided to build her a grown out tank. Because she cant touch the 300's that I have......

I am now looking at lighting and want to go all T-5, I am planning to use two ATI fixtures over this tank so my question is this...... With the tank being 18" tall I think I only need to go with two 4' 6 bulb fixtures and I am thinking I can get away with two 4' 4 bulb fixtures but wont have the color combo needed to go SPS.

What do you all think.... I am going to post an awesome build thread once it is all done but like I said planning and buying at the moment.......

this sounds like a good build cause the wife will be involved lol.

I would use 2 4' 6bulb fixture perhaps the sunpower fixture. Especially since the tank is 24"wide you will need the 6bulbs. 4 bulbs just wont cut it.

Sounds like a nice tank, love the AIT fixture using one myself they are top notch. I wish my GF wanted a grow out tank. I would even stock it for her.

I Was thinking the Power module only because they are dimmable and I will be able to "bring some pieces up to light" if they are stress or come from a lower light system

If you have the extra cash then powermods all the way. Otherwise use the sunpowers they are fantastic...easy to raise and lower the fixture. makes it easy to acclimate your corals.

Yea im currently torn between the Pm dimmabale Stealth or a Rx6.
