My fav platygyra brain has formed these weird white growths on it. It was fine and normal four hours ago, I put some aiptasia X on some palys and came back to find this singular brain doing this. Everything else is fine. I tried to blow the substance off but it seems to be a part of the coral? Some brains have had a tiny bit of that when they were hungry in my experience but never to this degree. Does anyone know what’s going on? A little freaked out because she is my favorite

Are you talking about the feeder tentacles? Little clear tubes with white tips?

Did a four gallon water change, it’s a twenty gallon. Also changed filter. It’s the next morning they’re still ticked

if it didn't touch the coral, then probably not. What are your parameters?
I’m bringing home a test kit from work to see, I don’t test normally because I don’t like to chase parameters but now that something is off I’m going to. But my birdsnest is ticked off now too. I’ll update parameters when I’m home

Parameters are fine, it had to have been somehow the aiptasia X.
