13? What I would give to have just 13.. started with one, grew to about 10 (should have been a warning I heeded), then went back to Scotland for 3 months and returned to Anemone hell.. In Austin if anyone wants them for the price of the Life Rock they’re on.. and you can get here before I tear down the tank (best guess there’s around 300 in this 7’ tank).

This is close to where I ended up as well….had to do a full tank rip out, had a few scraps of anemones that survived and started to grow….i let the rocks dry out

Well, I started with 1 BTA in hopes that it would host my clowns. They never go near it as it’s on the opposite side of the tank from their territory. I now have 3 BTA and 1 is on the move. I’ve already lost a couple of torches to them and don’t want to lose any more.

Would love to re-home them - any suggestions on how to remove without injuring their foot?

There are a couple of different methods. One is to use an old credit card or something like that, and gently work their foot off. Another is the to use an ice cube to gently move their foot, as they don't like the cold. Another I have never done this, but it makes sense to me. Use a piece of PVC tube a couple inches in diameter. Place it over the nem when they are balled up. Find a means of securing it temp. They will move up into the tube trying to get closer to the light. Good luck. I think you will be fine.

If you decide to ship, I’d take every one you’d want to let go of. Setting up a harem tank so going to need quite a few lol
