If your rock scape is glued up now, and has been allowed to cure, I don't believe you'd need the insta set spray at this point.

I would reinforce your 'scape using super glue and something like Poly-Fil, Cig butts, paper towel, baking soda, etc. You can also use a little sand or rock dust to hide those joints.

This is what I like to use. I use superglue gel to tac the pieces in place then go back and fill in the joints with mortar. Done correctly the rock will break before the joint.

I finished my aquascape and left it in water for about 2 weeks in a bin. I removed my aquascape to put in my tank before setting it up and a piece i thought was very heavily glued on broke off easily. Im hoping it was a fluke piece but now im sketching a day before the tank is supposed to be set up.

Is there a spray i can just spray all the rock and then it'll stay together? Like a spray glue?
Ive attached the combination of glues i used.
Maybe i put both glues on this piece and it was a mistake. Often I did mix the glues and used a spray accelerator spray...Ive attached all the glues and sprays I've used.

I used the bulk reef supply glue accelerator.

As others have stated. I just used a very thin cyanoacrylate plus a very powdery sand I got from two little fishies. Spray a bit of glue in a tight joint while adding the sand. It sets up like rock. I could pick up entire rock structures by the top most piece and nothing broke. It is amazingly strong. I think you would have to chisel the joint free to break the rock apart. Wear a mask and do in a well ventilated area as the glue really gasses off while curing. Also gets very hot. But it absolutely makes rock solid joints.

Reef mortar is the way to go if you're building it dry.

I used two kinds of mortar to put my aquascaping together. I greatly preferred the Nyos Reef Cement I ordered from Amazon. Yes it sets very quickly. I had a stack of red solo cups and I would mix only enough mortar that I could use in a couple minutes and then that cup and remaining mortar inside it would be garbage.

My process was: figure out how I want the rocks to stack, superglue them together with a few dabs of BRS extra thick super glue and spray on accelerant (this worked incredibly well), then add the Nyos mortar to cover the super glue and fill in gaps so it looked more natural. Then that cup would be trash and I’d repeat the process. I did this with the rock out of water. The mortar set up fast and hard. Then I added water to make my live rock wet again so the good bacteria and life didn't die off.

I did the same process with mine, just used the E-Marco mortar instead of nyos. Worked very well. Could pick up heavy pieces by the tops without worrying about it coming apart on me.

I always use superglue, I also add crushed coral, (aragonite sand I think it’s called now) and some little pieces of rubble to the joints, you’re essentially making Concrete, the bonds are very strong. I think any joints you think are weak you could add some aggregate and that thin glue., just keep filling in the spaces with the sand/rubble and glue and spray it with the bond accelerator so it dries. You get very strong connections.

by the way, I wouldn’t attempt to “spray” any kind of bonding adhesive to your rocks, unless you are 100% sure it’s a really safe, I personally don’t know of any products like that

The Gorilla spray is not designed for aquarium use so you have no idea what it will do to your tank. It could leach chemicals that would be deadly or breakdown in the salt water. If you spray enough to make a difference in holding the rocks together would would most likely seal the rock pores and reduce the ability of the rocks to act as a bio filter. I would recommend that you get some Marco cement, read the instructions on how to use it and use it to reinforce the major weight bearing joints.
