Please help identify - cyano?

Fuzzy substance on rocks that hold air bubbles. I thought it was cyano but chemiclean didn’t help.

Hi! Looks like the start of green hair algae. I’m assuming the tank is new. Don’t freak out! Your tank is slowly building new life to help out compete these things. In the mean time. Get some turbo snails 1 per 10 gallons. Wait a week or two and see what happens!

The tank isn’t new but I had a major situation happen last month. I added 4 times the required amount of alkalinity product due to a miscalculation. I had to replace nearly all of the water. Since then I have been having this issue. It is frustrating to say the least

Is it possible you restarted the cycle in your tank? Even if nutrients are up now, You may have starved out your biome and now your tank is out of balance. Regardless the turbo snails should help.

I think that this might be the issue. I just went to the LFS and had my water tested. I’ve attached the results. They advised me to turn off my skimmer and not to do the weekly water change.

Yep! Take it easy feed twice. Use some reef roids. Now u also don’t want to over do it. No large swings in either direction. Feel free to ask me questions any time!

Be careful, one of the reasons your nutrients may be testing so low is because the hair algae is consuming them. If you put more nutrients into the water column you'll be literally feeding the algae, giving it more fuel to grow!
What do you have for CUC? I would consider adding some turbo snails and maybe an algae blenny to have a go at it, mine were like lawn mowers!
Watch your coral, they will give signs, if N and P are truly that low you'll find unhappy coral.
Keep a good eye on things and don't make changes too big or too fast.

Thank you for responding. I just added 2 turbo snails and a lawnmower blenny today. I already had a pretty good CUC in the tank. I last tested the water last Thursday via Hanna checkers and my nitrate was 0.7 and my phosphate was .018. I’ve been adding microbacter7 daily because I read that it would help with algae but now I am questioning that decision.

Skip the MB7, it's an enzyme and bottled bac and meant to lower nitrates which you don't need to do.
Sounds like your on it, monitor closely and see how things progress. You could always lower your lighting period or intensity as well to slow the hair algae.
