I just found this on my live rock. It appears to be sometype of starfish.

Asterina starfish. Harmless and beneficial in my opinion...we have 100's in our tanks.

Most Asterina starfish are beneficial to your tank but there are some varieties that will chomp on your polyps and zoas so do be careful if you keep coral. Usually the white Asterina stars are good, the darker ones are the chompers.

I had white ones that I found were also eating my Zoas and my coralline algae
