Please help identify what is on the right side of my montipora. I see a flat center with flat legs going out.

Do you have a photo under white light? Kind of hard to tell from the photo
 
Here is a better picture. I’m thinking about re dipping it in Coral RX.

It's likely a harmless sponge. At this point it would not concern me. If you do feel the need to dip just remove the item.
