Please help me save my hammer coral

Looking for some general guidance on what I can do to try to save my one hammer coral. All other corals in the system (including another hammer) are doing well and growing. This guy just started shrinking up about a week ago. I thought a fish might have ran into him but hasn't shown improvement. It was added about a month ago,

Any thoughts or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Has been in the tank about a month. In that spot the whole time.

Parameters
10.5 all
450 calcium
1350 mag
10 nitrates.

Ran ammonia and nitrite as well. Both 0.

Yes. Very open and big. Then started closing up and that weird brownish spot was there.

I was wrong, in tank about 2 months. Right near the end of April.

I have another hammer as well that is open and huge as well.

Birdsnest, psammacora, lepto, favia all look fine. Just this hammer.

With that brown spot I would consider a Lugols dip for 5-10 minutes. Kent marine makes a Lugols dip

Always a chance of a fish or shrimp nibble I guess. 2 clowns and a gramma, with the skunk cleaner shrimp. I'll give lugols dip a try.

So I ended up doing the Seachem reef dip, just so I could do 1 day shipping. I figure iodine dip is iodine dip, right?

Happy to say I got the hammer back in the tank about an hour ago, and it looks fat, extended, and happy again. Already! Must have been an infection or something (like I said, I think a fish rammed into it to start it looking rough).
