Hi I am novice in saltwater aquarium. Currently cycling my 1st tank for last 12 days. Bought live rock and salted water from local aquarium shop in Indianapolis. There was no livestock in my tank. I added lights yesterday. Today I have noticed two living creatures in my tank. One pest snail I guess. Another one I am not sure. Please help me to understand what these creatures are? Is it normal? Do I need to do anything? Please check the attached files for reference.

I agree with the feather duster but I can’t make out the snail in the first, can you circle it and repost?

I believe that is an Elephant Slug.

Commonly known to be harmless and some even say helpful in the tank. Rarely people say they may eat coral.

I have a couple in my tank and I like them. Ive never had any issues.

It’s very hard to get a picture of them. They were outside but after light is on, they are hiding

I don’t think it is a slug. Please check the new images and help me to identify the snail.

Looks like a Collonista Snail probably. The previous photo I think we were all looking at the shadow thinking that's what you were referring to.

It's not actually an asterina star, everyone just calls them that.

Aquilonastra I think is the actual name.
