What is the species on my Goniopora? Is it harmful? How to remove it? Please help

Are you able to get a picture? I'm having a hard time figuring out what I'm trying to look at.

If you are referring to the small polyp-like extension on the left of the coral, it reminds me of a feather duster. What's its behavior? Does it retract? Is it quick on retraction?

If it is a feather duster, they are filter-feeders and usually harmless. In this case, I'm not sure if its proximity to your coral may irritate the coral or not. If it doesn't seem to bother the coral, it's probably safe to leave it be for now.

Yes...it is very quick...only opening during low light or light off...if I put light on it, very quickly it goes inside a small hole

Yeah, it doesn’t look like aiptasia from the angle of the picture! Maybe a more frontal view/picture of the critter will confirm that, but I think you’re in the clear.

No possible to take front picture..as soon as I am putting light for taking picture...it is instantly going inside the hole
