Hey everyone, Im new here just having alittle issue with my hammer all of asudden, hes been fine for months and out of no where a hole appeared in the middle, all of my parameters are fine, Im wondering if it could be my emerald crab getting at him, im leaving my levels below, its crazy it was from one day to the next. thanks

Looks like a tare. How is your flow around that area? Have you actually seen the crab in that area?
SG is low, mg is low. Any swings in parameters?

I would pull it out and dip it though. Could be a pest of some sort
nothing really swinging with the parameters, and I do see him around there sometimes, the flow is really light in that area theres little sway and its been fine for 4 months it grew significantly, this was out of nowhere, literally overnight, the only thing i can think it was is i didnt dilute the buffer enough

do you think i should do a coral dip or iodine dip??
As of right now it looks pretty healthy so I wouldn’t worry about iodine dip. I’d use a coral dip. Then give it a little time. If you begin to see it looking a little unhealthy (polyps not extending, etc) then I’d try an iodine dip.
