Please ID this for me! Cannot get it to go away!

I have had some reddish/brownish stuff growing on glass/sand/rocks/everywhere. Hopefully someone can tell from the pictures!

Do they move? If not the most likely it's an algae of some sort. Kind of hard to tell with the blue light.

No it doesn't move. It does have a flaky look to it (as opposed to a slimy look)

Look closer, those red planaria have to be moving!

red planaria... get you a wrasse like a 6 line to gobble them up.

Edit, but wow, thats alot. you may have to look into a Flatworm exit treatment...

Agreed red planaria..


In most cases they will go away after a while...
I had then in a refugium a long time ago.. One day they were just there and pretty many too and then gone...
Faltworm exit will kill them but it can be a little risky...
