Hello I want to begin plumbing my 120. I started doing research but I don’t know which route to go? Any suggestions?

Might need some more detail for anyone to help, photos always best. By dual overflow you mean like a 'reef ready' tank with overflows in the corner that go through the bottom? What do you have for a sump? Again - photos!

LOL, that's positively terrifying! Creative way to dress up the back wall!
Unfortunately I'm not terribly familiar with those types of overflows - do they just have a single drain and return hole in each one? It didn't come with any plumbing for them?

Is that an r&J stand? I have a 125 dual overflow. 1 drain, 1 return each side. Overflows spaced along back. Is yours like this? Hard to tell with your back covered. If that is an R&J 72x18x30 stand, I'd love some info on it like inside dimensions and even a picture looking in to see the back. Trying to figure out my sump

Oh, if yours is the same here is a pic of the in side for others. Also, if the same, you've covered the vents mid and lower on the overflows. not sure how important they are

Not sure, just know they fill the narrow outer weir with water from low and mid levels. M ine were filled with cr** when I hosed out the tank. Must have had 5 inches of muck.
Lol's on the stand. It looks from the outside like the one I ordered.

If the stand is rotting--hard to see your concern in the photos--I'd dump it if you can't repair it. Once you set your tank up you are not going to want to tear it down to replace the stand! I dumped hte stand that came with mine. A it was way to tall for a shortie like me (4') and it had a lot of saltwater damage to it. I got a stand from Petco R&J brand--all wood for 448.00. Not as good as a custom but better than what I had

Actually it happened when I tightened the screws [emoji21]. I filled it in with gorilla glue and wood filler
