I've drilled my tank, and am ready to install the bulkheads and ran into a question. I have a 3/4" thread x thread bulkhead for the returns. If I glue the pvc to the abs bulkhead I can never remove it. They're both threaded, but is there something other than glue that could later be removed? I plan to use a union shortly after the bulkhead so it might not matter, but was curious.

Cheers!

Don't glue threaded joints. And don't use Teflon tape. You want to use a thread sealant made for plastics. Here's the one I use....found at HD or Lowes.

Cool. I figured there was a better way than glue, but am a relative noob at plumbing so wanted to double check.

Thanks!
