So im getting ready to assemble my sump and going to start looking at plumbing. The tank is a 120 and came with two drilled holes a 1 1/2 and 1 inch with out room for anythimg else unless i put the retuns on the exterior .not a big fan of single drain overflows but would a durso be best with this setup. Take the 1.5 and split it into (2)3 ione for each sock

The tank is designed for a single drain line, but I would use both lines as drain lines (primary and overflow) and then go with an external return. Good luck with whatever you choose!

Thinking the same used the 1.5 with a y for two 3/4 to the socks with the 1 inch as a emergency then exterior plumb the retuns

You would be better off reversing that. Use the 1” as a full siphon drain, then the 1.5” as backup. If the 1” gets clogged, the 1.5” can handle all flow and more. The way you describe, a clog might overwhelm both pipes as the 1” can’t carry everything.
