Plumbing Question

Ok so getting all the plumbing done and figuring out the route the return is going to take. I have this setup and think it may work but all you plumbing experts I need some solid thoughts..... From return pump to flow meter to the UV and from the UV it will return back to the DT using dual return lines.

Looks OK but you need some clamps on that soft tubing. Assuming you have a DC return pump to adjust the flow.

I do have a dc pump and nothing is permanent as of right now it's just a mock up. I have the clamps just dry fitting for the moment

To be safe, I would use clamps too.

It's hard to tell from just the one picture whats going on, do you have a bypass for the uv so it can be taken off line and maintained while the tank is still running ? If you have room for that it could help, is the uv the only path for your return water?

I would just turn off the pump. I may add a bypass later on but for now it will have to do.

Thats good and definitely works, until your uv breaks and you don't have a replacement ready or any other reason for something to happen, then you have to keep your tank off for an extended amount of time while you repair the return line, if you make a bypass the uv can be off line for any amount of time and be fine. I've said before I would add plumbing later but after the system is up and running its much harder to add to the plumbing and more than likely won't happen when the tank is running good. Just my opinions

I took your advice and appreciate the opinion. It was a good one. After research and dry fitting I decided to go this route with 2 extra valves just in case I need to add anything else.

It looks great!!!! I won't say that it's best and quietest to have the gate valve closest to the sump as possible..
