Hi guys,

Was debating on where to post this. I'm thinking this is the best area?

There is a nifty open source program called plumbingpy which can be found here:
plumbingpy - Pump Head Loss Calculator - Google Project Hosting

I've got no affiliation, but came across it while finding myself curious on how much head a "complicated" return system would induce that would leave Mario wishing he had a GPS or an iPhone w/ Google Maps. :xd: The only thing is, the pumps available on it by default are kinda dated. But it gives a mechanism to add new pumps in the pumps.xml file available upon installing. (I was surprised how little head it induced on a pressure pump, BTW.)

So, I made some xml entries for the pump I've ordered, the Reeflo Blowhole 1450. And, here they are, in hopes it helps someone else out down the road.
:D

This pump is a 3-speed pump, so I made three entries for it. LS - Low Speed, MS - Medium Speed, HS - High Speed. I also added a couple additional entities for documentation's sake.

Code:

I don't know if anyone else uses this app, but thought it'd be nifty if others posted their pump curves here too for others to benefit. Anyone have some profiles they'd like to share?

Thanks,

Added the curves for the ReeFlo BlowHole 850, 1100, and ATB FlowStar 1500, 1800, 3200, 4200 to the .xml.
:)

(Couldn't find a curve for the ReeFlo BlowHole 2700)

Enjoy!
