Pods- how do you restock?

Hi all,
restocking my pods. When you get an order do you dump the pods and the water in your display tank? Do you strain the pods out and discard the water? Do you put them in the refugium insead of the display? Do you wait until lights go off? Thanks!

I initial stock to the fuge. I've not had to restock due to how prolific they are.

Put them in the fuge. I haven't had to restock either.

1/2 in the tank and 1/2 in the fuge

Yes for the tank.

I don't have a fuge. I wait for the lights to go out, float them to account for temp change and sink the bottle to my sand bed. The next day I retrieve the bottle and rinse it.

I just put some in my fuge.

I drain them into a fine net as the water they come in is high with Phosphate, and then add them to the display tank early am with the lights out and the fish are still hiding otherwise they would grab them and my mandarin would not get a look in
