Recently, I’ve noticed that my aquarium looks far better when I’m wearing sunglasses. These aren’t blue blocking orange lens glasses, just regular polarized sunglasses.
im inclined to think that this is due to the scattering of light coming from my LED (probably true with any light), and wild refraction as the light bounces around the tank.
has anyone tried to apply a (transparent?) polarized film to the surface of their tank to reduce light scatter and improve viewing?
my wife is making fun of me for wearing sunglasses inside to look at my fish!
