Orange glass tank??

Im more of a natural looking tank guy but I have noticed a lot of hobbyists are very coral focused to the point they may not even have fish in their reef at all. It got me wondering if anyone has ever tried a aquarium with orange glass (same as the coral viewing glasses) to make their corals pop. Crazy idea I guess lol. Definitely not my cup of tea but might be cool for others.

The orange doesn't really make the corals pop, it makes it easier to take pictures with the blue light on which captures the pop.

There was a thread on here about a year or year and a half ago where the reefer was looking to add an orange filter to the front of his tank. I don't know that he ever got what he was looking for but it was a little discussion around this. I'll see if I can find the thread for you.

Orange tint on Display tank

I’m looking to buy some type of orange filter to place on my tank for a constant Pop vs. only when taking pictures. I don’t know how to shop for this type of filter so I’m hoping someone could chime in. Here is a link to Orphek’s lens filters and it says 15k Lens. Which I can’t find something...

How about yellow/orange filters on the glass?

Maybe this is a crazy idea, but what about making the low iron/starfire/superclear glass tanks with a 15K or 20K filter glass pane attached to all exteriors of the glass, so that the blue bleed is reduced, without the need for Orphek lenses on your phone or camera? Just saw a similar thread...

But the tank won't glow like a neon sign which seems to be the cool look people seem to love. Some people even run frag racks that glow lol. Not my thing but to each his own.
