I work for a bank and do mortgage loan auditing so I can work from home which has been a change for me but not too bad once I got set up. Actually my group has been hiring in preparation for some kind of normal down turn since even if we do fewer loans what are doing we want to make sure they done right.

Thank you for what you do! I’m back in school myself, taking a few pre requisite classes to apply to a masters program in nursing At Ohio State. They have a cool program for people with degrees in something other than nursing.

That’s awesome, I am a nurse(ICU background), my wife is a nurse practitioner. I am a Director if Case Management, but helping frontline workers with complex patients.

The program i am applying for Is a NP program. Luckily (if thats the right word) classes have been moved online because of this. And my work load and hours have increased tremendously. No way I could go to class with this work load and having to be in the office 6-7 days a week. Now I can work daily and do homework at midnight or whenever I get home. I have some very busy days, often working very long days then school work. But I’m luckily to have income so I won’t complain.

Hiring is the same or more, especially per diem nurses, but background checks taking longer due to state and federal reductions.

The worse the economy the more people get incarcerated! And the incarcerated population has an absolute right to healthcare services.
